During a recent appearance on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos”, Hillary Clinton revealed possible plans of cutting the wages of citizens who did not cooperate with her newly developed plan regarding healthcare, if she was to be elected president.
Obviously this has not been seen a widely acceptable plan as nobody wants to seen any changes made to our already horrible wages.
"We will have an enforcement mechanism, whether it's that or it's some other mechanism through the tax system or automatic enrollments," – Hillary Clinton
However, Clinton expressed that she did not plan to punish those that did not comply with her plan, but believed that through these mechanisms everyone could afford the insurance that she wants everyone to have.
She goes on to rebuttal claims made by her opponent, Senator Barack Obama, that she will force this plan upon everyone, regardless of their wealth by stating “The misleading information that Sen. Obama's campaign is putting out, that I will force people to do it even if they can't afford it, is absolutely untrue." Closing with “…He's playing right in to all of the arguments against this core value of the Democratic Party."
